PACT – Partnership for a Cleaner Future
On 11 December, Zalishchyky Mayor Ivan Drozd together with a delegation from Zalishchyky — Oleg Strilchuk, Vasyl Stoyko, Olesya Kyrylyuk, Ulyana Chekalyuk, Andriy Kovalishyn, Halyna Kovalishyn, and Adam Khomyak — visited an international event held in Jarosław, Poland, within the framework of the cross-border cooperation project “PACT – Partnership for a Cleaner Future. Cross-border project for improving sustainable wastewater management in Jarosław and Zalishchyky.”
The conference was dedicated to discussions on European legislation, challenges in water supply and sewerage systems, and prospects for the development of the sector. This cooperation was made possible thanks to Interreg NEXT Poland–Ukraine, PWiK Jarosław, and Zalishchyky Vodokanal.
Special thanks were expressed to Piotr Kuchta, Dariusz Bukowski, and other Polish participants for their invitation and hospitality.
The next such event is planned to take place in Zalishchyky in the near future.
